I'm giving this review 3 stars, with our first stay considered. If it was just based off our stay last night it would have been 1 star. We stayed here twice, both going and coming from our vacation. The first room located on the 3rd floor was fine, smelled heavily of cleaning products, but nothing concerning. Beds were comfy, a typical breakfast for a Hampton Inn, and the staff was friendly. Our second stay last night had multiple issues. The entire 4th floor seemed to have no air flow, but the air conditioner in the room did work at least. The room was smelly, and I immediately noticed mold on almost half the ceiling. The bathtub faucet constantly ran, not dripped, but a constant stream of water. 2 out of 4 occupants in our room said there was no hot water when showering. Things throughout the room felt moist. We did not bring these things to the attention of management, due to the dynamics in our group. Meaning, we've been traveling a long time, and things are already tense. We were ready to leave and get home. The staff was very friendly, and it appeared that management had several issues going on during our stay that they were doing their best to handle. We are generally an understanding group, and we know it's been a hard couple years. A flowing faucet is a thing we can overlook. But it would be wise for management to deal with the mold quickly, as that could cause health concerns for all if not dealt with properly.

I had a quick stop off here for 12 hours. Pulling a 30ft trailer behind my dually, they had a fairly decent parking lot with ample space for trailers granted that you got there early enough, (I say this because I pulled in around 1930. Then around 2230-2330 there were at least 3 or 4 other trucks with much larger trailers circling the parking lot for a spot). All in all, it was a care free stop. Nice hot breakfast. Beds were super comfy. Nice quiet smooth running a/c. Only a 1/4mile off I95 but far enough not to hear it.

Pool closed all 4 days, could not provide a coffee mug or glass(paper only), shower drain did not work, very slippery shower floor, advised we may pay cash at check out and still ran our card on file, only 1 elevator in operation, and floors always sticky. 1st room fridge did not work and was a connecting room.. requested working fridge and they changed our room.. confirmed with agent this would not be another connecting room...it was.Paid almost 600$ for a horrible stay. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice hotel not too far from downtown historic St. Augustine. Definitely a good price since we stayed 4 nights/ 5days and cheaper than anything you would find in town during Spring Break. Free breakfast, sort of basic stuff like eggs and cereal, but loved the money I saved not having to pay for breakfast somewhere else. Loved the free coffee/tea and cookies in the lounge each day, that was nice when we needed a caffeine boost before we went out! Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Didn't have any trouble getting more towels, toilet paper or anything we ran out of. Pool was closed since it needed an inspection, but no big deal considering what can go wrong in hotels. We still used the pool area, plenty of chairs to sunbathe for a couple hours, played music on a small speaker and no one bothered us. Definitely would stay here again since we were maybe 15 minutes from main part of town, but you still have the outlet mall and a couple restaurants nearby if you don't want to go into St Augustine to eat/shop.
