Extremely impressive staff and clean. My phlebotomist had worked there 14 years. He said its a great place to work and it shows. Also great refreshments what else would you want in a blood donation center? I came all the way from Oakland California to donate and do some skiing. I highly recommend this place.

First time donating blood at ARUP. Very impressed with the staff and the facility. Very clean and the equipments looks new. I like that the donation will benefit hospitals locally. I got tired of the donation process in Red Cross and lately appointment cancelation when you made time in your sched to go. RC’s loss.

I had been donating at the Red Cross for years until I was deferred for life from donating with them due to a false positive blood test. No “thanks for all your donations, let’s repeat the test again and try to work this out”. Just a cold letter in the mail. I figured since it was a random false positive my blood was still safe, so I decided to try donating with ARUP. Such a great place, I wish there were more locations! The phlebotomists are excellent, and the donation center is clean. And they will usually reach out to you over the phone, not to badger you to make an appointment, but to let you know that your blood was successfully used for a patient. It’s a personalized touch that makes me want to keep donating.

Horrible staff and rules. Waste of my time. Just go to red cross.

No. ARUP does not pay for donations.

I was born and raised in England. Moved to USA in 1970. Lived in England again 1983-1987 and have lived continuously in Utah since 1990. I have O negative blood type. Can I donate blood now or am I still restricted?

For the best answer to that question, call 801-583-2787, option 1, extension 5272, and then option 2, and the lovely people in the donor center will advise you.
