This place has too much anarchy. There are people working here that should have been fired.

Got here day early and they still accepted… very cooperative guys… if you’re here for 1st time than you should go to door 13-14… Don’t follow your GPS if it ask you to make left turn… go straight through and there’s truck entrance…

Why do my packages move along OK until reaching this last stop before my local PO?Then once again, this USPS Black Hole of misdirected packages decided to forward it to the wrong PO. Now I have to wait another 5 days to see if they can manage to get it to the correct town on their second try. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

Fingerprinting! I wanted to leave this review so less people will be confused as I was. The USPS website was not helpful nor was the customer service line. If you need to get fingerprinting done, you show up. No appointment necessary. Wait in the line with the passport people if needed. Bring your registration number, ID, and form of payment. The guy doing my finger prints was kind, helpful, and doing it all by himself (passports, fingerprinting, and answering customer questions). One star deducted because of lack of information on the website and because no one answered the phone at this location after multiple call attempts.

You are understandably correct. This place is a total nightmare.
The answer would be no. Monkeys are smarter and coordinated and more organized.
Yes you do need an appointment .No walk in this is based on my experienced went to Crooked hill few weeks ago to processed the passport
What is it you are looking for
Absolutely
Must be a delay on its service hours or, a long time for trucks to get loaded and go.

The Crooked Hill Rd office opens at 7 am
Did you receive the customary letter from the postal service acknowledging that you submitted a change of address? The USPS will send this letter to both, the new and the old address. If everything is correct on the change-of-address, do nothing. Your mail will eventually start coming. It takes a while, about two weeks. This is normal. The mail will most likely have yellow stickers adhered to it showing the new address. If your submitted COA is not totally correct: You stated that you believe your new apartment number is incorrect. Definitely a problem. You will need to cancel that COA and immediately submit a new one with the correct new address. Go to the post office that delivers the mail for your new address for assistance. They may have received some of your mail but it wasn't delivered due to insufficient address. Good luck.
If tracking is still indicating that the letter is "in transit", then it is not known that it is in fact, in Harrisburg. Based on this question what I know for sure is that the letter was put in mail steam from point of origination and it hasn't been received by recipient. In transit means it hasn't been scanned since it was mailed. You could go to the post office to inquire about it to have a clerk take a look. May or may not be there. Otherwise you don't know without a scan.
Check local court house and ask prothonetary if they can expedite it. I know for an extra fee they can but I don't know time line. I got my son's passport in 3 days that way.
If you have an appointment only. You can request USPS website.
You should contact your local Aos supervisor and let them know about the issue
2 main front big doors. Walk through that and turn LEFT. Another set of doors. Open that and you are in the post office.
? Open branches
Most mail sirting is done by machine...not humans. It us possible the computer read it as GA or it had the wrong zip code on
You will need a flag for a mail box on the street. The flag only needs to be a contrasting color, not specifically red. For a door slot or mail box on the house, your out going mail must be displayed so the carrier can see it.
Calling? That's funny. I could never get to talk to anyone. Always end up just going there.
What time do you close at the crooked hill branch in Harrisburg.
