I can’t speak highly enough of the doctors and nurses that took care of me while I was in there for a surgical procedure. I was in so much pain but every one of them made me feel like I was number 1! Thank you

My mom was there for about 3 weeks with acute kidney failure and infection. She was treated like a queen. She constantly had different professionals coming in throughout the day checking on her. She's on government funding and I was surprised how well she was treated. The facility was always clean and the people were always very cheerful and respectful. Highly recommended.

The emergency room's waiting room is not an indication of how busy they are. Ambulances come in constantly with prehospital emergencies. If you were triaged and did not show signs of being in critical condition, then you were likely placed on the priority list waiting for an available bed.
Yes they do
Environmental Services (Also known as Housekeeping) is contracted through Aramark. The employees on each shift are assigned certain sections, floors, duties, etc. Depending on how many employees are on typically determines when issues are addressed. Even so, visitors, patients, and employees all put in complaints related to overflowing trash can, long response times to spills and bio hazards, and other noticable cleanliness issues.
I didn’t want to drive to Hershey either because I’m close to Hbg but looking back convenience isn’t worth risking your health with unskilled medical so called professionals. Also, in my review, the first thing the first Dr asked me was, am I an epidural type of girl? They just want an easy fast birth so they can make money and move on to the next. Have your birth where your most comfortable this is more about you than your wedding day.
? I only see transplant unit
Not sure exactly but I'm sure Scott if there's a number that you can call it you can get that information
Ask for a patient advocate.
UPMC Harrisburg's ER can handle stroke patients. We have medical alerts to notify the correct staff so that we can get you to imaging and cared for as soon as possible. Always remember that strokes are extremely time critical illnesses. If you suspect you or someone you know is suffering from a stroke, call 911 immediately.
UPMC Pinnacle is not technically a trauma center as we do not have the proper doctors and surgeons staffed/on call 24/7. While we can handle some traumas, the worst patients are typically transported to Hershey.
This is the best hospital they make you feel loved and cared for. You can tell that the staff love there jobs. I would recommend this hopital for delivery of your baby and they specialize in high risk patients, and early deliveries.
The tenth floor currently includes toxicology, respiratory, and neurology patients
Go through volunteer services at Community Osteopatic Hospital.
Yes!
To get to the chapel/meditation room, enter through the front entrance. Stay to the right side of the front desk and then turn left after the glass corner. Down this hallway, on the left, will be the prayer room, across from Elevators A.
Yes, they do
I'm sure if you go to their website, you can find a career link.
ER parking. You'll just have to move your car later. Fair warning, I had an awful experience with their L&D. If possible, I recommend switching hospitals
9am-9pm unless u significant other has a baby then u can come and go as you please if your wearing a risk band
Go to the hospital you had the procedure done at, ask the front desk for the records department. Be sure to go with two forms of ID and ask for the records via the date it was done. Im unsure, but they may only have basic info. We ran into a similar situation recently. They had very limited informtaion from my husbands visit. I wish you the best of luck!
I would call the billing department
Not recommended but be better to make a appointment
