Not Musso Farm. I was at Historic Keator Family Farm across the street. I am the second oldest grandson of Lowell Keator. The Keator family is attributed to having the first building in the Vineland area of Pueblo. It happened to be a Church. It kinda feels good to have such a history.

We went mostly for the pumpkin patch but ended up getting some great deals on squash and giant peaches. SO much stuff to look at! We had a blast. We got to do horse carriage rides to the pumpkin patch and the kids loved picking out their own pumpkins. Over all a great experience. They did have food available but we did not eat. I would highly recommend this and we will be returning!

Here's a hint for anyone out there who's never smelled fresh harvested green chilies being fire roasted, it's an awesome smell and something you need to experience in person at some point in your life. No one does it better than Musso's and a trip out to the farm store during the chili harvest is a must. Everything that we bought was great, fresh corn, pears, pumpkins, but the star of the show is the green chili which is now in our freezer, vacuum packed to get us through the next year. If you can't get Pueblo green chili, Hatch is fine, but the best green chilies in the world are grown in Pueblo Colorado but please don't tell anyone, we don't want the secret to get out ;-).

Nice farmers market outside Pueblo. Had a few fruits and vegetables ive never had so had to grab some. The produce looks good. The only negative is the parking lot area. Hard to navigate when there's a few people there. Overall a good experience.

I looked at the website, it looks like they do ship out of state. I'm in Florida and it would be $90 for 1 bushel and $155 for 2. It looks like it is shipped raw.
Yup
No. They usually open for the summer\fall harvest season, and close by the end of October. I believe they will still ship from the website year round.
Yes. But you can call and they will have them ready for you.
Yes
No checks but i used a CC and they all tack on a service fee for using a credit card. Its best if possible to bring cash if you aren't wanting to pay the small service fee of like 2% on a Visa card.
They usually open around the first week in July or if weather is good the end of June check their Facebook page they are very good about letting people know when they are open for the season
Colorado has declared English as the states “official” language.
Omg I thought they charged me wrong
They have tomatoes for sale now but I'm not sure exactly when the season is
Fresh chile yes have to wait they have powder or jar chile now
At their restaurant
Musso farms is closed for the season, only open for appointments only, due to early cold weather.
I'm not sure, I would recommend not bringing them as the place is always very busy and pretty small
Contact musso farms you can find there number on line.
Not sure, but try googling places that sell pueblo chili or salsa in your area.
Should be...or very close
The phone line to our market broke by a semi. still not repaired.
They have horses and tractors for the hay rides, they take you out to the field and you can pick any size pumpkin for $4.99. I just took my nephew, they also have a bounce house for the kids and music.
Hi Karen, your question goes to local customers who've visited Mussos, not to them directly. It is harvest season so I bet they're really busy. Good luck!
U can freeze them for a few years. Just watch for freezer burn
You can call them not sure this helps
Yes they do but they are high in price right now if you wate until med August they will be cheaper. But they are wealth wanting for.
Hum
Not sure honey
You might call. I know mauro farms across the hughway are open all year. Think both live there.
I've seen the use high pressure water. I'm not sure if they use to remove the skin off. But if you let the Chile rest for about 45 - 60 minutes in the bag before you place them in storage bags the skin slide off a lot easier then placing them in storage bags right away.
Yes, and they were $25
