Super easy and quick. We had over 3200 can's, plastic bottles, and glass and it took us less than 10 minutes with a few people ahead of us. Super easy to work with and used our own clear plastic bags without any issues.

First time visit since new ownership with over 4300 cans, went smooth! In and out inside of 20 minutes...great! Update 5/9/22: Guy at counter said they translucent 13 gallon white kitchen bags i use for easy counting on my part were OK to use, next visit a different guy said he will take them this time, but never again, only use clear bags they sell. Consistency in management of business would be a bonus. I appreciate they are only place close to Des Moines taking large returns, but it is a business nonetheless and I'm pretty sure they knew what they were getting into.

They pay the 5 cent for the refundable botand cans. cans.
It's been Fridays from 10am-5pm lately. They do post their schedule for the month on Facebook
They are open Dec. 10th, 17th from 10-5 and Dec. 21st from 2 - 6
No I do not know what the hold up is.i check week lyrics and still not open. I have to travel to pella.
They told me to keep a eye on their Facebook page. So far no opening date. Need to make a drop off hope they are back in business soon.....
