We took back Forty eight bags of cans and water bottles and they gave us 104 dollars. I left scratching my head at how this could be possible. Garbage bag size bags. We took the remaining 10 bags that we couldnt fit back to another place and got just over 36 dollars. All the bags were same size kitchen trash bags full. My 8 foot bed with cap on my truck coukdnt fit another bag. Thats alot of cans. With that math we got shorted roughly $60 or so. Not the first time that somebody I know felt very shorted bringing back a massive amount of cans. I dont know if this was an honest mistake or if someone is pocketing the difference during large turn ins but they should have realized there was a big mistake. These cans were for a fund raiser. Smh as a company be aware of this bc there will be a cash out soon that will be pre- counted and you dont wanna be known as the company stealing from your customers. A few dollars is one thing on a large turn in but what happened to our situation was plain wrong. We came friday april 22nd around 3 pm. All of the returns were ny state returns mostly topps and wegmans water bottles and beer cans. It was myself, my son, and his girlfriend. We pulled up out front in a gold ford pickup.
