Several years ago I tried k&b and received 72.9% of my returns. Today I thought I would try them again and received 96.8% While not perfect, they get 5 stars for the improvement and I will use them until they prove otherwise. I have to say, some of the reviews posted are what I feel are totally unreasonable. For instance, to expect them to ignore osha guidelines, of them working in some of this heat, let alone the human aspect is totally unreasonable. Their in this to make money and I'm sure would of rather been conducting business. Thanks guys, your making today's world easier to live in.

Clear bags. Separate cans and glass.
They typically give you a large bag for $1 your first time there. When bring it back in, they estimate how many cans and plastic bottles are in the bag by looking at how full it is. Not exact obviously, but it is quick. Last time I was in, I got $10.25 for a mixed bag (different sizes for cans and bottles can go in the same bag) They also give you a new bag for free. Glass bottles need to be separated out and are dropped off outside. The only con I see is with their hours. Some days they closed early due to being full I guess and in general they are not open all day. Overall, if you can plan what day to go during lunch or on a Saturday, I really like how easy it is. Even if I do not get paid for every can or bottle from the guessing, I cannot turn every can into somewhere like HyVee anyways due to their UPC system so I am ok with that for how easy it is.
Clear bags . You can count them otherwise they estimate from my experience. But very fairly. They do not weigh the bags.
