My son is trach and vent depending. We went to the er because his oxygen was 80 and they told me to have a sit they don't have any beds. I'm yelling for help my son was turning blue they told me clam down.And asked why he was turning blue because his oxygen was low. I should have went to Marion the don't make ppl wait if there turning blue. CARBONDALE IS THE WORST HOSPITAL EVER

Been here for 3 hours to find out what is wrong with our son being sick found out the results and still keeping us in a small room to do more stupid test that has nothing to do with why we came in for at all

What a joke they hire people who would rather look at their phone then help you, ( this is about the people who check you in and work at the front counter) they don’t do their job and security is just as much of a joke, asked for help and the old man had to get his sunglasses before helping me

Drive thru testing is not available at this location. Many retail pharmacies run covid tests through their drive thru. Try Center For Medical Arts walk-in clinic (urgent clinic) or a retail pharmacy drive thru.

9pm is when visting hours are over but you can walk through the er doors after 9:00 to get a visitors pass. The main doors close at 9 . But I think it all depends on what floor the person is on.
no he was adopted at this hospital when I was 15 like I said he's not my birth child he is my adopted child I just thought they would know sorry ive been wanting to seen him ever since my bf had adopted him cause he lives there

Southern Illinois has NO TRAUMA CENTER. You have to travel out of state to Cape Girardeau, MO; St. Louis, MO; or Paducah, KY...or make the long trip north to Chicago, IL which has 5 trauma centers.

Every department has their own. Call and ask operator for fax number of the department you are trying to reach. There is no general fax number for the entire hospital
