My son and I both see Dr. Makhdoom. I have never had any complaints about the care received from the Dr. He is super good with my son. He has Crohn's and I have Nash. There was one time I was emotional over my testing because I had done all I was suppose to. Etc. My son and I both had an appointment that day separate but roomed together. The Dr spent a bit of time probably 45 minutes with us. But that's not horrible considering we should get 15 mind each. 30 mins. But the nurse/lady wasn't happy and tried to scheduled me for really late. Which isn't fair. We had never spent long in the room. Since then today she tried did the same and accused me of being in room 45 mins again and this wasn't true we spend less then 30 minutes between the 2 of us roomed together. She is intentionally picking at me. I do intend to speak the the Dr about this issue.. we need certain times for appointments. Besides she shouldn't be taking it out on me because she is ready to go home.

Dr. Makhdoom was my GI specialist for 3 or 4 years prior to me moving to Central Illinois. I cannot praise him and his staff enough for the wonderful care I received. Helen, the PA was caring and professional also. I have several GI issues and had several procedures during my time with Dr. Makhdoom, all of which went very well. Since I moved last July I have been unable to see a GI specialist. My new primary doctor sent a referral at the beginning of January. I had my records transferred to the new specialist and they called yesterday (almost 7 months later) to say that the doctor had decided not to take me as a patient! I really miss the treatment I received from Dr. Makhdoom and his staff!
