A wonderful organization that it highly dedicated to the care and preservation of endangered species. Go visit and I promise you will want to donate. Donate anyway even if you don't visit.

Yes....you have to make reservations to tour. They do have free open to the public events a few times a year
No, membership is not required. You can contact them to schedule a tour. There are multiple tour options available.
Look at their website. It has a lot of information.
$18 per person for a 90 min tour. It's definitely worth it. But bring a pair of binoculars. You'll see a lot of animals but some are shy.
Hi Jeanne - This is a guided walking tour. Please call us to secure a reservation.
You can become a member at the adopt-a-wolf level (price is on the website). The animal stays at the Endangered Wolf Center, it's not like adopting a dog or cat. You are sponsoring the animal's care and will receive updates on how it is doing throughout the year as well as a picture of it and other member benefits.
Friend is for two $50, Family is for $95. https://www.endangeredwolfcenter.org/membership/pack-partner/ Also: Adopt-A-Wolf Corporate Pack Partner Perkins Conservation Society

Fees on website. Dont forget your membership can be considered a donation. Thanks!
No. Nothing hands on, they're all wild animals. They do have pelts from deceased animals.
There is an organization that helps coordinate carpool rides but I've never seen a nonprofit organization be able to court date rides for volunteers to come in
Hi there. The gift shop/education area has a ramp. The trail itself is gravel after a certain point, I definitely wouldn't try pushing a wheelchair but they do have a cart to assist handicapped folks in their tour. The center has wolves, African painted dogs, and several species of foxes. Winter is a great time to go because there is increased visibility (no leaves) and the wolves are more active in cold weather. I've gone twice, myself--once in July and once in October. The later trip was definitely the better of the two!
Different tours are different prices. Best to check their website or call.
YES you do. The entrance gate is manned and locked. if your name is not on the sheet having booked a tour, you are turned away. if your name is on the sheet, you will be allowed through the gates and given directions where to drive to. This is copied from their website: Reservations are required and easily made online or by calling 636-938-5900. Check our Events Calendar for availability of tours & events Go to the website or call the number. you will see you DO need reservations. we were turned away and told to make reservations.
The Center offers rare Mexican gray wolves, Red wolves ( a critically endangered species), Maned wolves from South America, African painted dogs which are as exciting to see as the wolves, Swift foxes, Fennec foxes from Africa (adults are 3-4 lbs.), an Arctic fox and a special red fox with a genetic variant that makes him a rare silver fox. All of the animals can be seen unless natural conditions relegated them to their dens. Certainly worth the visit.
The goal of the Center is to reintroduce wolves back into the wild. Even the animal care staff avoid touching the wolves. They aren't vicious, but very shy of people. If they become comfortable around humans, once returned to the wild, that trust can harm them. There are pelts available for you to feel the furs of all the species.
No. Wolves are not domestic or tame animals. For your safety and for the wolves, no Petting it allowed
