Sweet and curtious. Get the job done.

It’s not the government!!! It’s some of the people they hire.
Mandy Trujillo

Can I make an appointment to talk to a representative about my husbands SS. He died and I would like to know if I qualify for his benefits when I turn 66
How to make an appointment on monday
No. It depends on what you need, though. You can call and find out.
The day you stop working and having taxes taken out of pay check.
I have been trying for 5 weeks to get them to answer the phone so I dropped by the office and was stopped by the security guard who told me that I needed an appointment. I told him that I have been calling for 5 weeks and he said that I would just have to keep trying. I said that I keep getting cut off. He said that I could stand there and argue with him all I wanted, but he would just keep telling me the same thing. I went home and called Troy Balderson's office. They told me they have gotten MANY of the same complaints and have been trying to get social security to open back up. They sent me a privacy release form and his office will now advocate on my behalf. Opinion - They are using covid as an excuse to not work at all. The real world has been back to work or never stopped at all. The security guard was extremely condescending.
Did you call them?
Timings are still same, however it's only by appointment. Call them up and they would provide details and arrive at scheduled time.
There is no age restriction for SSI. SSI is a needs based program for disabled individuals that have limited income and resources, and are not eligible for Social Security, or their SS amount is below a certain limit. The only time age comes into play with SSI us at age 65. At age 65, even if not disabled, if you have limited income and resources, and your SS amount is low or nonexistent, than you may be able to receive SSI.
Google SSA and it will give you all the information that you will need for making a appointment.
Yes
Yes they have, just call the worthington office.
They have a drop box so any day and time. They are there Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
You should be able to to go online and print it.
I wouldn't call that number. But look in phonebook for authentic number for social security. If not go to a social security office. It sounds like spam to me.
It depends on your situation. Make an appointment.
I called and they said walk ins only. I tried to make an appointment but was told not required. So you just walk in, sign in and wait for your number to be called.
Yes
Yes but today I did that and can't get in till Oct.
Yes. You can make an appointment or wait for the line to walk in.
They are taking walk ins
I can only speak for the Worthington office: YES, you can walk in without an appointment but you will be staying outside (rain or snow) until they call in in.
Just by appointment only for now...
Any documentation you send will be sent back to you but I wouldn't send w2s. Most people send an ID, my daughter got her's back in a couple days.
You apply for it in person or mail your application in and then they send you the social security card in 2 weeks
Monday and Friday. Arrive at least a half hour before closing though. They lock the door by somewhere around 3:50.
You qualify for Medicare if you are 65 or older, a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal resident who's been in the United States for at least five years, have worked 10 years and paid Medicare taxes. You may also qualify if you are younger than 65 but are disabled or have certain medical conditions. Make sure you compare the supplemental plans and pick one best suited for you.. Devils in the details
Yes, until circumstances change OR visit the website and see if you can accomplish your task online.
No they are not! Call the social security direct line for help!
There is an application you download then you can follow the instructions on the application really easy process I just did for my daughter, then you go and put the papers in a mail box they have, but you gotta wait like 4-6 weeks. I was there about 4 weeks ago and they are still closed.
The social security offices are closed you have to call to make a appointment.
Yes, but is suggested to get appointment. As soon as you park cark, security personnel approach to the door. Just exit and confirm your details, answer few covid questions and you he lets you walk-in.
Yea they are closed and if u go to their office there will be a number on the door for u to call and yea good luck
They are closed. Must call for form and do by mail or online
Expect a very long wait. As an alternative you can always go up to Marion and get an appointment much quicker.
we had too long of a wait and we were there we had too long of a wait trying to get an appointment so finally we just went up to Marion. It's worth the drive you get up there you get right in and get right out.
They do accept walk-ins. Appointments can only be made for certain circumstances.
I'm insure. However, I believe you should receive an award letter, or a denial letter within 2-3 weeks of your application being processed. (That's what I read on their website). I hope this helps. 😊
You might check to see if you can do it online. If not I believe I saw people dropping off various documents without an appointment. Don't know their hours. Check website.
More like 2 months. I tried to get appt and the 1st they had was Dec 3
Go ahead and call but you may find out the first appointment might be four to six weeks away. In our case we decided to go to Marion and got an appointment right away.
I believe inside the office there is a drop off box. I would expect the guard would let you drop off without waiting in line.
Yes but depending on what you need it may be out 6 plus weeks. If that's the case I would suggest you try Marion. We did so and significantly reduced the amount of time it took. About an hour's drive with no wait vs. Worthington.
if you're going to create an account online make certain that your credit report is not frozen. They use information from your credit report to verify your identity.
The best way is to go there and schedule an appointment on their customer kiosk, anytime during their office hours, that way you can have it all locked in for your next visit. I know having to drive there twice may not be them most convenient, but trying to get someone on the phone there can be QUITE difficult, and I'm not sure that you can schedule appointments online. Hope this helps. Be blessed.
You can go online at www.socialsecurity.gov and download/print the for to fill out. You can put original documents for proof they are good at returning it. There is an office in Worthington, Ohio. Make sure you get there at 8:00 am it opens at 9am. People start lining up at 8am. There is a drop of box there so you don't have to wait. They will mail you what you need. Hope this helped. 🤗
Try going online. If you've already made an account you should be able to find that information. If not, create one and go from there. Hope that helps.
Current state issued photo ID
Personally, I would take it into the office to discuss it with an agent directly. In this day and age, it's always best to go to the source on something like that versus responding to some anonymous person and it being a complete, fraudulent scam. Hope that helps.
That's something that you're definitely going to have to have corrected at the office. Since they close at 4pm on most days, the best time to go is between 3 and 3:30pm; that way your wait time will be lessened. I hope it all works out.
Yes, you most certainly can apply for Social Security benefits online, at ssa.gov . Hope that helps.
They open at 9 and close early at like noon on wednesdays. But the best time to get there is at 8 am. And stand in line outside the door before they open so you can get in and get out otherwise you'll be waiting in line all day long.
Select the percentage that you want held out of your monthly benefit, sign and mail or drop off in person to the Social Security office.
