When you pull into the campground, it looks dry and hot, but when you drive to the end... what a great oasis in the desert. Beautiful, lush park, playground and a wadding pool too. Clean and well kept park. Lots of walking trails. Love it.

Very well maintained park. Self service pay at the entrance. The trails are nice, perfect for hiking and biking. There are some additional trails that aren't on the park map that are great for biking.

This is one of my favorite state parks to stay at!! Sites have electric and water hookups and the park area is best when the wading pool is open. Great trails for hiking and very close to the town of Caliente for picking up supplies, groceries or simply eating at any of the small town restaurants.

No, not that I am aware of in the state park. Caliente Hot Springs Motel and Spa nearby advertise natural hot springs water piped into the baths in 6 rooms.
There is a camp site however it is a tad bit down the valley...
Like the previous answer only 10 (in the center) have electric- the ones off to the right (upon entering) are tent sites w/no electric. By the way bathrooms have electric. Enjoy!!
