The reservoir is full of weed/grass/moss, almost impossible to fish there. I have been to this campground many times over the past decade. The campground is very well maintained. But you got to fix the reservoir.

Very nice campground. Large sites, easy access. 2 campgrounds, 1 with power, water and sewer at each site. The one with power is up on top of a hill, it is very windy. Good AT&T cell reception. The other one has water only at each site, with a large restroom with showers. This site has very poor cell reception. There is a lake, but when we were there, the water was very nasty, algae bloom I think. Nice views, valley below.

A nice small reservoir, with ample camping available for all types of campers. The best part of the park is the Ash Canyon trail that loops from the upper campground, enters a narrow canyon of volcanic rock, and then leads back along Meadow Valley Wash to the reservoir. It’s a fun park.

Very clean, well maintained. Park Rangers outstanding. The collection system and availability to get passes is very convenient. Spots are first come first serve, long drive from Vegas to find out you don't have a spot available. Big rig friendly, roads have definitely improved. Fishing lake grown over with grass, not good for swimming. Check out Spring Valley, very limited big rig, limited fishing and swimming. Cathedral Gorge(pictures) interesting for a day or two if out in this area.

2 to 5 lbs is fine. You won't catch anything bigger than that. The trout are wonderful.
Yes, exactly what Ed said. You are much better off to kayak in the lake.
Yes, RV dump station is available. There are also 20 full hook up camp sites.
You can but it is better to kayak. People fish in the lake and I would worry about fish hooks and line. The lake is very full.

As of April 2021, they do have satellite WiFi (payment required). When I was there they had one dish operating with a mount available for a second satellite dish.

The RV campground has 20 full hook-up sites situated on a hill overlooking Dry Valley. Campground facilities include flush toilets and an RV dump station.
