This is a great state-owned public wildlife management area. The check station is on site and there is an area designated for camping. Camp site is for primative camping, but it's a big open field. Many people bring tents or campers. Note however, there is no water or power hook ups. The hunting is great, and there are many deer and turkeys. Although some people choose to bring a pop up ground blind or self climber, during hunts where you are allowed to hunt with firearms, they unlock many of the wood framed elevated box blinds for public use. There are creeks on the property and planted food plots. There are also dove fields for those who dove hunt. If you live near Columbus or Macon, I highly recommend this place!

I'm not for sure all I know is I have been trying to find out why the public is locked out when we should have access to this property.
