No animals, don't ever come here, it's terrible. I'm being sarcastic... It's great, but people are starting to ruin it. (Piss poor people who I hope get caught) However if you do decide to come hunt this area please, for the love of whatever holy power you believe in, read the book, follow the damn rules and buy the permit. Yes, you need a special APH permit, no, you can't just do what you want because you're from Texas. It is not, NOT, a rifle 'type 2' area, no rifles. No, you can't just leave a tree stand or a blind up for the whole year, read the book. I plead with fellow hunters, to just do the right thing when you come out here and don't ruin it for me and my kids.

There is no information station here. Nothing at all that resembles any "station" of any sort. There is one sign somewhat nearby that has some rules and a phone number for wild life management

Where if at all can I hunt on public land? I am a service connected disabled Vet on a fixed and very limited income. Unable to afford a lease or lottery. Just want to hunt and spend time with my kids while I am still able.
