Went in just before my appointment, and the ladies did an amazing job in helping me with my out of state transfer. I was in and out within less than 10 minutes. This is one of the best DMV experiences that I have had.

Totally Pathetic...Walked in to have an address change made on my Driver's License about 1:30PM today (Friday), and there's nobody else waiting Except The 3 Women behind the counter and one lady being helped. I was informed that You Have To Have An Appointment.

Are they allowed to answer the phone at the DMV in summit?
Yes we do for regular and class D. You will need to bring an original birth certificate, ssc, and 2 proofs of residency in your name if 21 or older.
I have got to change my driver's license from Florida to Mississippi. Do I have to stay in Pike county where my physical address is or can I go to Brookhaven Lincoln county to apply for my driver's license

I'm not sure, I just know that they take last names starting with A-M one day, and N-Z another. And they have a day for everybody else not getting a regular driver's license renewal like commercial licenses, etc. Call the Brookhaven office, and they should be able to tell you which aforementioned days about this location in Summit. If your last name is Yawn as it is on your profile, your day to go in and get serviced is tomorrow, Friday.
Dealing with that DMV I'd bring 2 proofs of identification with your name and address that's on your license. (Ex. Tax bill, car registration, light bill, etc), Your social security card, voter registration card, because you don't know what they are going to won't and they won't answer the phone and even if they do it's too sit it on the counter and ignore it🤷♀️
Does anybody know if the DMV will be open the day after Easter? Thanks.
