I’ve never experienced such rudeness and disrespect. I attempted to get a license plate for a UTV and was unaware of an inspection that needed to be completed first. I do believe her name was Cheryl threw my title back across the desk at me and rudely told me “you’re not done yet…” instead of politely and professionally informing me of what still needed to be completed. I will drive out of my way to go to any other BMV from now on.

Plain and simply, this vist is first to this sence my move up here, it was by any means Farr the shortest time frame I have spent in a B.M.V. in this state in my life, and all who served me were both friendly and knowledgeable. Good enough for me. Job well done BMV Associates.

License renewal this morning. Always have dreaded license bureaus, but Knox County, was a pleasant surprise. I was in and out in under 11minutes, hardly waited at all, easy to register for line, quick response time and friendly customer service.

It’s okay

Go in on the schedule testing days, show proof of I'd and address, take a written and vision test, pay the fee and off u go.
If you are over 18 you can schedule the skills test as soon as they have an opening at a driving exam station.
There is no driving exam station at the Mount Vernon location
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday 8am-11am
BMVs are closed on federal holidays only
Yes, you make an appointment for a driver's test online
No appointment necessary to process for a driver's license. You have to make an appointment for the skills test online.
The BMV will only notarize things that have to do with vehicles. The title office will notarize anything for you
Yes they are open. They are closed on all federal holidays
You can check online at ohiobmv.gov Also there is a chat service on there
You just need your driver's license or your id whichever one you have
Check online at ohiobmv.gov
Call to see if u cant get appt. Maybe the only way right now.
If you are over 30 days late you will have to pay a $10 late fee
If you want the standard just bring in your current one and if you want the federal compliant one you will need to bring in your certified birth certificate or valid passport & ss card or w-2 or 1099 & 2 proofs of address and any name change documents if you bring in birth certificate. They are both the same price.
Yes. The state of Ohio still requires a front and rear
Yes we take check, cash and credit cards charge 2% fee and debit charges $1.75 fee
Could you possibly go to the dmv on Monday to see if they can give you a copy of your license paper?
You actually need your certified birth certificate, SS card and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, credit card statement etc.) If you want the compliant you will need certified birth certificate, SS card and 2 proofs of address
To replace an ID or a driver's license it depends on how much time is left on it before it expires. The DL's could be between $20-$25.75 and the ID's is $9
Just an ID is $10
I'm happy to help but I'm not sure what you mean. Try again?
If you want the standard driver's license just bring in your current one and it will be $27.25 If you want the compliant DL it's the same price as the standard but you will need to bring in passport or certified birth certificate and SS card, 2 proofs of address (utility bills, bank statement, credit card statements, vehicle registration or title etc.) And any name change documents, usually for women who change their last name when they get my married
There is no driving exam station at the Knox county license bureau. You will have to schedule a test online. Only operator and motorcycle permits are given at this location
Just bring in one proof of ID like ss card, birth certificate, credit card and then you will just have to fill out paperwork and pay for a duplicate which will be around $20-$25.75
You will have to call the title office about titles. They are in the same building as the Knox county BMV
You will have to take the assigned title into the BMV and you can get a temporary 45 day tag for $20 ($21 if you want it laminated)
Yes you can get your permit and then the same day schedule a test (as long as the examiner has an opening) then you can get your DL the same day as long as you are over 18 and of course as long as you pass
