For companies they should speak to a specialist to make sure email is secured from the company level. Companies have many levels of security, email filters, password & login policies, geo-location polices, compliance, and retention policies.
Remember when your parents told you not to take candy from a stranger? The same rule applies, do not open emails from people you do not know or any that look suspicious. When in doubt, delete it.
There are many risks in using public wifi that should be known. You cannot trust those supplying the free hotspot with providing a safe network. Virus and malware can easily be deployed to devices via these “free” Wifi hotspots.
Make sure all software is up to date. Older devices may not have the capability to support faster speeds. Test wifi speeds from different distances from the wireless access point. Check if it is only one device that is slow or multiple
The best way to identify what is causing network slowness is looking at the following: Is it happening only to one individual or multiple? Does it happen when accessing a certain item on the network? Is all equipment up to date using the latest network speeds? Have you added any new devices to your network recently? Have you outgrown your ISP speeds? A lot of different scenarios can cause your network to be slow. You need to identify exactly when it is slow and from what device. If it is causing interference with day-to-day operations try unplugging one device at a time to see if you can narrow it down.
