I can tell you that in November of 2018, Pennsylvania passed a law that gives everyone, including adopted children the right to their own birth certificate. So it is your constitutional right now.

They made it possible to get your origional birth certificate with bio parents name on it in November of 2017 or 18. Where you have to call or write to get it or ask for the application, but I did receive mine and only my birth moms name was on it and she passed on 2017 unfortunately. You can order via mail it will take 4 to 6 months to receive. from that same website you can order via vital check, it will be more expensive however the processing time is a little shorter. This is if ordered via vital check. If you where born 1967-Present 3-6 weeks, 1967- prior 18-20 weeks. Regular mail: Birth 30 weeks, Death 36 weeks.

I read a couple negative answers concerning the time it takes to have someone answer the phone I found no problem whatsoever I called them on the 11th of september and I was number 8 on the list it took about 25 to 26 minutes for someone to answer the phone and take my call.
