stayed for a few days here and would give it a solid 5/10. upon arriving, i was told the wrong time that the pool was open but that’s ok. i stayed in a suite and the room itself was pretty good for the first night. the second day. the bathroom lights went out along with about half of the outlets and lights in the living area. was extremely uncomfortable having to use my flashlight to shower but i did not want to have maintenance/hotel staff in and out my room fixing things bc i was there alone with my children. decided to deal with the electrical issues. then the tv in the living area half worked. the channels that did work had a horrible clapping sound in the background that was louder than the tv itself. i have never heard anything like the sound the tv made. overall, did not have the best time due to all the room issues but the pool was nice. every time i went to the pool it was quiet and clean and we pretty much had it to our selfs until the maintenance men decided to check chemical levels while people were still in pools that basically indirectly forced them to get out. pool closed at 10 but i was told 11 and then at 9:45 the maintenance men start trying to wrap the pool area up. a lot of side eye from front desk workers when asking for anything. then even after requesting a late check out housekeeping came into my room TWICE without permission. they knocked and since i didn’t order anything i did not answer and i was also on the toilet she barged into my room and realized someone was there then left. then came back 5 minutes later to ask if i was leaving today and it was 11AM and my checkout was at 1. let me say it again. not once did i allow a housekeeping worker in my room and she entered not once but twice. so for that safety 0/10. there is a side door that’s open by the elevator and is pretty much open all night so i didn’t trust that. i’ve been to holiday inns before but i probably wouldn’t come back to this one

First room smelled like something was dead inside nasty. No towels at the pool... Women's restroom by pool was disgusting. The kids eat free right? Nope... Supposed to get free food for kids with hotel stay. I sat down to have a nice dinner with the family and they tell me it's not free..... according to the website it's breakfast lunch and dinner..... The restaurant was completely dead so I figured they would want my business, especially when my wife and I were ordering the most expensive items on the menu. Oh well we went to Texas Roadhouse and had a wonderful meal for less than half the price.

Stayed here on spring break 2022 to get the kids out of the house and take a swim. The pool(s) are the main reason we booked this hotel. It has 2, one Olympic size and the other a small "kiddie" pool. Kids had a blast and the pool area looks amazing. I kept getting asked on social media if I was staying at some resort out of state - that's how nice it is! That said, we also booked becuase of the free breakfast. We got up early, went down and were told there was no continental breakfast. The reason? "Something happened in the kitchen." What that was we have no idea. But we did see other disappointed guest coming down expecting breakfast and being told the breakfast was coffee and muffins in the lobby.🥴 We asked for a partial refund and the young lady, while pleasant and very personable, seemed new to the position and was struggling figuring out how to find the reservation and how to credit some of the charges. The wait was too long and the kids were hungry and ready to leave at this point so I told her to just forget it and we left. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. The pools are awesome. Were we disappointed in other aspects? Yes, but not enough to have made this a bad experience. Life happens sometimes and sometimes that means no free continental breakfast! 🥞😵 The great thing is you can head down La Grange Road nearby and find an endless amount of fast food restaurants and some nice sit down restaurants within 5-15min from the hotel.

The room and the hotel were pretty clean, but in desperate need of a remodel. Carpets are old, room style is outdated. Appliances are old models, TV is not smart. The room design is a bit awkward with the kitchen being part of the restroom. Electrical close to running water is never a good idea. It is considered a hazard. Not to mention that there is no curb around the shower so water can easily go anywhere. The biggest problem is that there is something wrong with the plumbing. Maybe is the pipes, but could also be a toilet/ toilet tank in need of repair. It was making sounds every half an hour so it was impossible to sleep since the sound was just too loud.
