Very disappointed, I reserved a room for 6 people through Airbnb for $390, they never answered my text through the app to get the code for the lock box, I drove 2 hours to get there, they have an office but there is no one there, in the window there is a tiny post stick note with a phone number to call if there is any questions. I called and explained the lady I needed access to our room, she didn't know who I was, she was not expecting us (nice lady) then she realized they already gave our room to some else... That didn't even had a reservation!!! (3 adults and 3 dogs, nothing against the dogs but I was not going to take a room we're other people are already in it) I had my 3 kids with us and elderly mother in law, tomorrow is our 18th anniversary (yeah we had the hole family to celebrate it, our kids are still small) she was nice to offer 2 tents (they are nice) but I still don't understand how she wanted us to sleep 3 per bed and in different tents with no bathrooms? Then she offer 2 in a room with bathroom and 4 in a tent!?? Still don't get it, I asked for a refund and drive all the way home for 2 hours with a car full of disappointed kids and wife!!! Not good, not recommended, and by the way I'm still $390 short because there is no refund. Please don't waist your money and time.

Old gentlemen working there was quite helpful but the management is not doing a good job at all. We were put in another room than what we have booked online. They asked us to change back to the original room in the morning after the first night(?) however the other room was not even clean yet. The place is at a good spot but not worth your money & time.

Great dive resort! Tank fill was super quick with tons of great life to see for a beginner I. SCUBA. Bunkhouse was nice, but there wasn't a ton of ventilation so when we would cook it got kinda smoky. All in all an amazing place for my first open water dive.

We stayed at Mike’s in March 2022 and booked via Airbnb. We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Mike’s—do NOT recommend staying here. Although the location is nice, the hotel is run down (e.g., pot holes, fences that are not secure, old fixtures), there was no management present on site and no communication from the airbnb host. We were concerned for our safety and the safety of others when a homeless man wandered onto the property and started harassing us asking for drugs and asked us for a ride to the gas station. To make matters worse, there was a dead seal laying on the beach with no signs or cones to prevent kids/people from going near it (and no one in the office to express concern to). We attempted to contact and call the host multiple times and did not hear anything. The one phone number that was provided to us went straight to voicemail. We had to contact Airbnb customer support for help, and ultimately left the property one night early due to safety concerns with the homeless man who would not leave the property. Overall, very frusta rated and disappointed by our stay here. We were looking forward to the property given the previous reviews, but we did not feel safe here.
