I'm rating the overall resort. It's important to know that the rooms are individually owned and many of the units are not managed/booked by the resort itself. This is why some people have nasty rooms while others are fabulous! Ask for pictures of the specific unit you are booking. I only know this because I am trying to buy one of the condos and will as soon as one comes open in my budget! Everything I saw about the resort was beautiful!

Booked the room and it looked super nice, they made it look and sound like an amazing place to stay for the price. We stayed 3 nights for $400. We arrived at the hotel and the women at the front desk were rude. We were asking basic questions and they acted miserable for having to answer our questions. We entered our room and the smell was horrible it smelled like years of nastiness being covered by a air freshener that was also old. The room looked like they had done the bare minimum on cleaning for the past 10 years. Curtains looked like they were hung in the 90’s and haven’t been cleaned one time. Walls had stains and so did ceiling and carpet. The tub in the bathroom was nasty so unless you wanna clean it yourself don’t plan on taking a relaxing bath. We had the AC as low as it would go and it was still super hot in the room we had to sleep with the “balcony” door wide open. I say “balcony” because we were told we would have a full sized balcony and it was literally the size of a window seal two people couldn’t even comfortably stand out there. The people above us were smoking pot (not the hotels fault) just saying. There is a lot of pot smoking going on in that hotel and nothing being done about it so prepare for that. The ice maker doesn’t work in the fridge. There is no oven. The indoor pool and both hot tubs were closed the entire 4 days we stayed for maintenance and we weren’t informed until we arrived. Outdoor pools were nice. Cabana is the best part about the hotel. The arcade is decent. Jo at the cabana was super friendly and she made some amazing drinks! Very easy walk to the beach. I personally will not stay here again but if you can look over all this for a decent price then there ya go.

Great place!!!!! Rooms are awesome the wait staf was spectacular. Even with 4 teams of college cheerleaders and dancers it was very quiet and the pool was always clean. The hallways and elevators clean and kept up. We orders food from the restaurant once and it was very good. Cant wait to come here again.

We loved everything about our time here. Pools were both warm and very clean. Ocean close to walk to quickly. Staff was friendly and went above and beyond repeatedly. Sat on the balcony and enjoyed coffee/drinks every morning and evening. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and lots to do nearby.

They have a mask requirement in the hotel and they suspend in room housekeeping unless you are there for a longer stay. We also constantly saw staff cleaning the common areas and elevators. Also multiple entrances so there isn't any congestion. I thought they did a good job.
The bar is more accommodating than the hotel. Wasn't pleased with how the hotel charged a security deposit and then kited it. What a scam.it took over two weeks to get my deposit back.

"Oceanfront" means a property directly on the beach, not anything to do with views. "Oceanview" is the views from unit. Not all units are oceanviews but all are oceanfront.
If you're the name on the reservation, of course. The rest of them can just go straight to the room if you've already checked in. If their name is on the reservation as well, they will need to go to the check in counter and give a copy of their ID

All pools are beautiful. Yes they work no construction nice and quite, couldn't hear the doors when other people shut them.
Go to Joe's Crabshack....its about 2 miles south of center...but its over the water nd beautiful...def worth the ride...million dollar views
I go there all the time. Nobody says anything but yes, I always buy drinks. I don't think anyone monitors it.
They are just doing renovation right now
They're coming back after renovations by spring along with the sauna. Damage from huricane but insurance said it was eroded in time. The ceiling was falling into them.
There isn't seen parking on site...... Maybe close by.....
