I just received my first order from Gardens of the Blue Ridge. I am so impressed that it won't be my last. My order arrived when I scheduled the delivery. The plants look healthy and were very carefully packaged. Not just paper to keep them from shifting in the box but the larger pots were actually sewn into place so they couldn't damage any of the smaller pots.

These folks were wonderful to work with and sent my plants at the right planting time, very well packaged, communication was expert and excellent, items were as described and expected. I would definitely use GBR again and reommend to others.

In April, I traveled the area to find the fruit trees and bushes I wanted. After all that traveling, I found what I wanted right here at home! Many varieties and great service and my plants are doing wonderfully. Thank you so very much!

I've ordered from this nursery twice and had plants shipped to me in NC. The prices are reasonable and the plants arrive looking healthy. They also will ship whenever you want the plants, and not just on a strict timeline, which is nice. Most recently, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the azaleas I received from them. Delicate ephemeral bareroot plants were well-packaged and arrived ready to grow. The customer service can be a little unfriendly though. My only suggestion to them would be to work on their people skills a bit, and to respond to customers in a timely and friendly manner.
