My wife and I had an amazing time at the Sunset Cliff House for her birthday! On arrival we were given a tour of each room on the property, all of which were nice and we will be back to experience others. The hosts consider everything you may need for your stay, from snacks to games; we were surprised and pleased. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I recommend making a reservation at Bay View restaurant, which is a short walk from the property. Thank you all, we will be back!

Marble Hill/Horseshoe Bay is more of a residential community, but the town of Marble Hill has some places to check out. Blue Bonnet Cafe and Bear King Brewery are good, and just driving through town it looked like there were a few local shops to go to, as well. There is also an H-E-B not far from the Retreat where you can get a few grocery items/alcohol to bring back to your suite. Tbh that's what my bf and I did; we brought our food back and just enjoyed our stay at the glampsite. Honestly just taking time to soak in the stay and relax was more fun to us than going around the town, but to each their own! 😊
