Their Craftsman tool replacement program is the worst. If they don’t have the exact same tool, then they can do nothing. Imagine a tool that was made 12 years ago, they have made so many improvements throughout the years, it’s highly unlikely you’re going to find the exact same tool anywhere. There goes Craftsman’s lifetime warranty. Why even bother buying Tools here. Go to Home Depot and get husky.

If you live in the area this is the place to go for hardware. Check out the fastener section. The best for the odd part you may need to finish a project. The staff is always there to help answer questions.

The people here are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help, even with minutia like bolts. Major kudos for the time they put in helping me with my challenge, which was eventually solved. They provide the kind of help you want, but are just not likely to get at a big box store.
