I called about a half a dozen times, and even left messages,. Trying to find information about a nursing home my mom was going to be put in. It’s been weeks already and still haven’t received a phone call. Pretty pathetic customer service.

Would give 0 stars is this was possible. This place is a joke. Can't get ahold of anyone about my med aide renewal. Nothing but rude operators and getting hung up on repeatedly. I'm not the only one having issues. Ridiculous we have to renew every year when it takes them half a year to renew anything. Can't work and make a decent living without my license . Thanks state of Texas .

I have been trying to renew my medication aide certification since July and can reach anyone. This is RIDICULOUS.

You may want to have your workmate look online for DADS phone number and information in Austin. Austin is where everything starts.
Yes, however, your family member must be approved by the DADS program. And you must work through an approved agency that has a contract with DADS. You may want to get your family member on the DADS list ASAP. Good Luck!
Go in directly to this location or call by phone. I sent a written letter in to the address given here and they responded pretty quickly by mail.
Go online and find an email and try that
I'm also dealing with the same problem🙄 it's so frustrating!
Look online under the DADS program. They have a list online.
