I love hanging out with my little family and I am able to enjoy with no disturbance, it's almost as of I rented the whole park to myself! it's amazing, I come from a bigger city so this is peaceful and people we see are friendly

One of my favorite disc golf courses. Lots of elevation change. Good mix of long holes and shorts but all of them challenging. If you bring your little one there is a playground so they can have fun too :)

Beautiful park. Enjoyed taking photos of the private residence from a safe distance.

Questions & Answers

Is there grills at this park

No grills for cooking. You have to bring your own. Some of the picnic tables are made of concrete which is great if you have a portable stove or grill. You can reserve the large pavilion near the playground and parkinglot through the Denison Parks reservation system: https://denison.recdesk.com/Community/Facility/Detail?facilityId=4

How does this disc gold course compare to the ones in Sherman? I think Munson is awesome, by the way.

Munson is one of my favorites. We play in McKinney or Rockwall more frequently, but when driving time allows, normally weekends, we drive up to play. Munson does not have the tree fields with no fairway like a good number of the holes that I played on the course in Sherman. There is only one water hazard on the course, and it's more of a pretty ditch, but the course has a decent amount of elevation change. The design is both effective and convenient with holes 9 and 18 ending near the parking area. P.S. There's a good Mexican food place very close called Los Azteca's just as you go back into town. Try the rojo gordita.
