Bad business handled badly. Charged $190 to disassemble electrical components on my vehicle, only to say it would be $1000 for them to get a cable in that the manufacturer sells for $50. None of it made any sense and I think Tupac was one question away from reaching over and strangling me for calmly asking them questions as to why they didn't see if they could even order the part or its price before disassembling it and unnecessarily charging me $190. It's essentially a $190 donation to the shop.

You should call the owner. I am sure he would need to see to it vehicle to be able to give you a price, and is he can do it.
