Been living in Colbert over 13 years but just recently discovered The Farmstead. The food is delicious, equal to Cotton Patch or Ceddars in quality but a cheaper price. Their pies are as good as mama made. Yummy... the only thing I'd say could use an improvement is the air conditioner, over the past year we've eaten inside and it's always very warm which isn't good in the middle of summer. We've started calling our order in for pickup simply to avoid the lack of air conditioning. But, as mentioned earlier the food is dynamite.

Visited for the second time tonight (6/3) because my first visit a week ago was so wonderful. I took my entire family tonight to enjoy the great food, sweet waitresses and ambiance of days gone by. Tonight's dinners were good however, the chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, French fries, onion rings etc all had the taste of fish. Even the toast brought out with the meals tasted like fish. I suspect all the fried food was cooked in the same grease in which the fish filets were fried, there's no other explanation of why chicken, beef and vegetables would taste like fish. That's the only complaint of tonight's dinner, the poor choice to fry non fish fare with the grease used to fry fish. We will certainly go back, it's a great off the beaten path sweet little Cafe and while this mistake is a common one, most restaurants will not repeat it because it can ruin good food.

Service was good only thing is they stop serving breakfast at 11. Got there at 1135. Kind server.

Great little Hometown place. We stopped there on the way back to Dallas from Tulsa and got a delicious cheeseburger, some amazing double fried fries and a great chicken sandwich. Very friendly staff. Food is all cooked to order and fresh.

No, ma’am! You do not need reservations. (I am the one who manages The Farmstead’s google account, and I’m posting from my personal account because my phone won’t let me switch over to The Farmstead’s account right now.)
Not sure but you can contact Christy there and she can tell you. Great food awesome pies.
