Fat's Chicken and Waffles

Amazing! House made Bloody Mary mix that was the best I’ve had in the city! Everything we ordered was delicious, this will definitely be in my regular rotation moving forward. Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon and we had a short wait but it was worth it! My friend and I split the shrimp and grits and the hot honey chicken biscuit with their sausage gravy on the side. My other friend ordered the fried green tomatoes eggs Benedict and we all couldn’t stop talking about how good the biscuits were. Even the side salad that came with our meal was legit which I was not expecting as the bulk of the menu reminds me of southern comfort food.

We stopped here after checking out Christmas lights. My sister had it on her list of places she wanted to try. We all loved everything we got, I wasn't too go back. I think it was the owner that was serving us, but she was fun. The atmosphere was great. I'm going back for sure!

This place just changed my life. I got the breakfast sandwich with biscuit, egg, fried chicken and gravy. It was amazing, the biscuit was the perfect texture and the chicken tasted so good. It was literally an out of body experience. My friend got the eggs Benedict with fried chicken. Also amazing and the potatoes looked so unassuming but they were so crispy and melt in your mouth. If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would. Probably the best meal I have had in seattle so far

I finally remembered to get pictures before we started eating lol. Loved Fat's! We waited about 45 minutes to be seated but it was definitely worth it. The venue is very small but cozy and the food is delicious. We had the fried breakfast biscuit that had chicken, egg, and sausage gravy and added honey butter plus a side of potatoes. We also had the breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, potatoes, and biscuits with gravy. I highly recommend visiting here even with the wait. Support black businesses.
