High quality work and fast turnaround for an affordable price! One of the few locally owned auto body shops left in Seattle. Paul, Yuchu and the good folks at H&I (also known as Seatown Autoworks) charged me less than $200 to do what two other big name auto body shops tried to charge me $3100 - $3500 for! My car got dinged in a parking lot. Some minor dents and paint scraped down to bare metal (rust risk!). At the recommendation of Repair Revolution, I called up H&I and Yuchu got me in the next day for an estimate. Paul took the time to explain how the dents weren't a major issue (structural integrity is fine, door works fine, no metal on metal rub). He and Yuchu then gave me options ranging from the more economic "buff it out and touch it up" to just protect the paint (~$200), minor dent repairs + repaint (~$1000), or full blown replacement of car panels (~$1800). I choose the cheapest option. So in two hours on a Sat morning, they protected the paint of my car and didn't destroy my wallet! The entire process from initial call to estimate to repair took five weeks total (at a time when two other repair shops were scheduling out 4-6 weeks + 4 more weeks to get repairs done). It did take a bit of missed emails and phone tag to schedule, but all auto shops in Seattle were really busy at this time. For comparison, I also got estimates from two other big name auto shops (both have "Collision" in their names). The only option they gave me was to replace the panels and quoted me at $3000-$3500. So they gave me fewer options than H&I and would've charged me thousands more! And it would've taken longer for me to get scheduled and get repair work. Go to H&I because they're honest, local folks who do high quality work for an affordable price! Protected the paint for less than $200 when two other auto shops wanted to charge me over $3000!

We have worked with this shop for years, fortunately have not needed car repair in a while, until just this month. They are wonderful to work with. Very reliable, pricing is conservative, and their work is very careful and thorough. They have helped us both for repairs covered by insurance, and those we elected to do on our own. Highly recommend them.

A rogue shopping cart smashed into my Honda Fit’s drivers side door and it would only open halfway. H&I evaluated my options and gave me two quotes: one to replace the panel and paint, etc; that was for $1100. The second was to push the dent out and deal with the fact that it wouldn’t “look perfect”; cost, +/- $200. I didn’t want to involve my insurance and given the reality of driving in the city and that it’s all too common to get scratched and dinged, I chose the $200.00 option. My car was repaired in less than three hours. When I picked it up I could barely see a slight dent. Small scratches had been buffed away and the car looked like it had been washed. Door opens perfectly. Final bill, $158.00. Highly recommend this business!

Paul has the top notch skills and is willing to travel the extra mile to help me fix my car in most economical way. My car’s bumper was slightly bent, when no other auto shop was willing to take it in without replacing the whole bumper, Paul helped me save the piece and saved me hundreds of dollars! They were very honest and transparent with us about the cost and the repair results, but the repair is exceptional, my car looks brand new. They have to repaint the fender, and even though red is extremely difficult to match, they matched the color perfectly. (See before and after!) I really appreciate their service!!
