Why have a natural grocer if they don’t have any higher standards than Walmart does? Actually no, Walmart has higher standards. This store has no local produce (all shipped from California, huge waste of fuel, and the nutritional value goes down by 10% every day that it is on a truck and it is probably a week old by the time it gets here) no local honey except for “Ellis Farm” who is a KNOWN reseller, the staff make up vague information if they don’t know answers about supplements and herbs, and while I’m fine with paying high prices for quality, charging like $5 for ONE nasty bruised week old avocado is ridiculous. The store owners would make more money if they stopped buying the avocados, and buy nice fresh local seasonal produce that will actually get sold instead of thrown in the dumpster at the end of the day.
