Always treat my fur babies well

Misdiagnosed what was initially a simple situation. 9 months later, the problem became serious so an appointment was made for 2 weeks later.. However, on a Tuesday afternoon and just hours before the appointment time the following day, VCA called and said they needed to reschedule the appointment due to the vet wanting to take the day off on Wednesday and no other vets were available. The new appointment was made for that Friday. On Thursday, the derma mass ruptured and became an emergency situation. Began searching for another vet and found one in Northern Oaks Bird & Animal (See separate review) who were able to make available a vet that afternoon at a much higher rate of cost due to it being an emergency. My dog was spayed in December of 2021 at VCA (same location), so her rabies shots were up to date and current. However, upon request of my dogs medical records, it was discovered that VCA has failed to keep up with ANY of my dogs medical records, including the spay. Northern Oaks required my dog to get another rabies shot and at an additional fee, of course. So a simple problem that went unresolved due to whatever reason, became exponentially worse in just a short while. When asked to reevaluate it, they schedule an appointment 2 weeks out, then canceled the appointment on short notice. The incompetence and downright laziness of VCA ended up costing me a fortune in exam fees, blood tests, medication, anti-biotic shots, and so on. Her surgery, now considered imperative to ensure her survival has been put out of reach for the moment to pay for what should have been prevented nearly a year ago. More importantly, my dog is in constant pain and discomfort with her condition up in the air. I take some responsibility in this because I have never been impressed with this VCA. The staff is unconcerned with all aspects of what should be considered customary and protocol when dealing with customers, or people in general. E.g., when I arrive and enter the office with an appointment, being ignored by the one staff member available so they can continue their personal phone conversation that involves vulgar content and takes 14 minutes to conclude, should never take place in any business, EVER! I suppose this explains why my dogs medical records were never kept up with. Some things are more important at VCA than your pets health. Beware!

Yes they do kennel. 100% positive on this. As I’ve asked when I’ve been there several times with my pets and have personally asked in case we need their services. They’re a great group of “Pet People.”
Off the top of my head, I do not know. But, if you call Monday when the clinic is open, one of us can email or text you the exact costs as an estimate
This facility is catered to the normal dog, cat kind of pet. But my experience with any vet in the facility has been nothing, but positive. They are knowledgeable and know their stuff. I would call to check if there is a specialist since a ferret is of a different need than say a dog or cat.
I don't know if they have a nutritionist, but we have seen each of the four vets, and they are all wonderful. My pets have always received great care at this clinic, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Sometimes you have to wait, but you will always get more than enough time with the vet. The staff are completely wonderful as well. Give them a try.
They can do either shots or provide you with chewable. But find out the days they offer half-price shots if you decide on the shot or any other shots your pet(s) might require.
They have half-price days for shots.
Yes
