I went into the shop looking for a few simple, stems that I would be able to pick out my very low key wedding ceremony. I went in knowing the exact types of flowers I was looking for and spoke with a young woman who said I should come pick out the flowers on Wednesday since that's when they get deliveries and they would hold the flowers for me until Friday the day before my wedding. After that interaction, everything went wrong: 1) I went back on Wednesday early afternoon and they were not well stocked but instead had limited selection. 2) On Wednesday a different young woman seemed confused by the request to pick out my own flowers for my wedding. As I tried to pick out flowers, she would add more and different flowers to the bunch and I'd tell her that wasn't what I was looking for. She kept pulling flowers to add and never showed me the final bouquet before putting it away to store until Friday. 3) She then informed me that I'd need to pay $50 to have the flowers wrapped as a wedding bouquet. I told her I did not need the flowers wrapped, I was wrapping them myself and don't want anything formal looking. She insisted that the charge was to "fill" the bouquet. I told her once again I did not want any additional flowers in the bouquet. She then spoke with an older woman who came over and told me they had to charge me $50 to wrap and fill the bouquet, once again I said I don't need that service. She insisted, so I asked if the charge was not for the service but rather that I said the word "wedding." She said yes. I agreed to pay the charge as long as the bouquet was not wrapped and filled. 4) In the time between when I picked out the flowers and picked them up I received two phone calls trying to get me to agree to wrap and fill the bouquet. When I came back on Saturday, the bouquet had been filled with flowers I did not ask for or want, but apparently I had paid for. The older woman argued with me that I in fact did want the flowers. 5) Eventually they removed the flowers but did not refund me what must have been at least $40 worth of flowers. It was such an awful, stressful, and disheartening experience to have right before my wedding. Not to mention the extra cost for no service. Also, if you are looking for specific flowers and not a traditional bouquet for your wedding this is not the place to go, they are very out of touch with current floral trends. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: The response is entirely untrue, I reached out to discuss my dissatisfaction both in person at the store and called after my wedding to try to reach you. I received no response so waited a few weeks before posting this review in the hopes we could come to a resolution. I don't want another bride to go through this though so chose to post publicly. - Flowers removed were not all replaced, that is untrue. I watched, stunned, as they came out and were not all replaced. First I was reprimanded though for saying I did not want those flowers, as if I don't know what I want in my own wedding bouquet. -I took apart the bouquet at home and put it back together in a way that was more in line with what I was looking for. The bouquet did not "fall out of place" at all. Clearly, when I said I did not want or need the wrapping, I was not kidding. The women who work in this shop assume the customer does not know what they want. I'd recommend avoiding and checking out Brooklyn Blooms, where I wish I'd gone for a less stressful and more modern experience during my wedding.

These guys are amazing. The flower arrangement they put together was absolutely gorgeous and tasteful. They were great at communicating with me about what I was lookign for. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be using again.

Fonda and her team did an incredible job for the arrangements for my October 2021 wedding and I would absolutely recommend Zuzus for any occasion. We provided her with a few photos of what we were looking for and she met with us several times to go through her ideas as well as what was available and able to be sourced due to the current supply chain issues. The flowers were absolutely amazing and we received so many compliments on them.
