With The Shade Store being such a large, well-known brand, we were a bit aprehensive towards using them for our window treatments in our new condo (first time homebuyers here!). However, we were pleasanty surprised. We worked with Melieen at the Hoboken store, who was exceptional. She knows exactly what she's talking about and provided comfort through her expertise during the entire process. After purchasing the window treatments, it was a few weeks from then until they were installed. The installation (by Chris) was very quick and completed with precision - they also look great! We could not have had a better experience and highly recommend The Shade Store for any window treatment needs (so many options, too!).

Edit on this: I am really upset with the customer support that I received from the shade store. My motorized blinds broke in less than 2 months of using it due to a faulty motor. It took them 1.5 months after it to actually get it fixed. I spent so much money on the motorized blinds only for them to not serve any purpose especially in a room where my baby was sleeping. I suggest not to go for any of these fancy ones and just do straight up simple shades. I didn't get any support from the store or customer support to expedite this even though I repeatedly told them I need blackout shades for my baby. Original: I worked with Elizabeth to get custom blinds built for our master bedroom and nursery. Right from the start the correspondence was great. They had someone over to take measurements and a quote was sent with multiple options explored. Once I finalized the kind of blinds I wanted, it was delivered to my house and they sent someone over for installation. I highly recommend the shade store for all your custom blind requirements.
