Meals On Wheels of Ocean County

Thank you for contacting us. There is no fee for our meals. We ask for a $2 per meal contribution from the recipient to help offset the cost of the meal. It costs us over $10 to prepare and deliver each meal. No one is denied a meal because they cannot afford the $2 donation.

The Home Delivered Meals Program is available to Ocean County residents who meet all the requirements below: • 60 years of age or older • Homebound • Unable to prepare their own meals, and • Have no one available to assist them with meal preparation.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We do not have opportunities available for meal delivery, but we are looking for volunteers to assist in our Telephone Reassurance program. The goal of Telephone Reassurance program is to help alleviate the feelings of loneliness and depression experienced by many of our homebound seniors by establishing a long-term phone relationship between a senior adult and a volunteer caller.
