What a hidden gem. This 1/2 mile forest loop is beautiful and educational. There are numerous interpretive signs throughout and I read every one. I went on a Saturday afternoon in July and was the only one on the trail while I was there. If you love nature, serene outdoor environments and PNW history, I highly recommend this walk in the woods.

Beautiful water ways and falls. Nice foilage even a plant i had never seen before called a snow plant I think with white puffs on it.

Nice little hike/walk through a well shaded forest to a multi-level falls. Well maintained trail. Interesting signage along the trail. At the first fork, go right to cross a little bridge and go straight to the falls, or go left and go down to the bottom of the falls first and hike up some stairs to see every level of the falls (there are about three levels - lower, middle, and upper). We went in the late fall and it was pretty, wet but not too muddy, and the falls were full of water. We were steered here by the informative museum/information center up the way a few miles. My 3.5 year old said the hike was "a little too long" for him, but he also was needing a nap... 😆 It says it was a .5 mile loop. I think it would be fairly short and sweet for most people. There are stairs and a little bit of elevation change.

Beautiful stroll through the woods to see some waterfalls and large old trees- glad we stopped on our way to our resort before the rain came. Half mile easy hike- some stairs and mostly dirt so I wouldnt bring a stroller myself
