Been repeatedly requesting an invoice from you for months. Paid you December 2020 for this case, cannot get an invoice or statement as to how the money was applied. Hired a new attorney back in April. You told us you would refund part of your fee. Months later you then said you wouldn’t. Repeatedly requested an invoice and our case file. Said mailed in October..when advised we never got it said you were then working on a more detailed file. How long does this take? This is unprofessional at best. This makes zero sense to me. It shouldn’t be this hard to get out an invoice or billable hours statement! 9 months ago you were released from this case! Update: 3/2/22 - Still absolutely nothing from Mr. Turner or his firm. We hired another attorney on April of 2021. Still have not received invoices as requested from Mr. Turner or our case file. I have tons of request in writing, to which he will reply “no additional correspondence from you is necessary.” To avoid additional correspondence, how about do your job! Update: 4/21/22 - Still nothing from The Turner Firm. I retained another lawyer a year ago now. Been requesting an invoice to how my funds were applied in addition to our case file. Pure silence at this point. Update: 6/5/22 - Still absolutely nothing from Joey. This is honestly a joke. How long does it take to prepare an invoice accounting for the funds paid and then hand over our file? Ridiculous! Update: 10/6/22 - On 8/8 Joey responded to my email request regarding the invoice that if I really wanted/needed an invoice he would work on it. Still nothing! Ridiculous!

Recently I found out that my identity was stolen and used during a traffic stop that ultimately ended with a bench warrant under my name. I was completely blindsided, especially since I haven't been back to Georgia since 2008 when I graduated college. I got in touch with Joey and he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He was able to get a dismissal of the case within less then a week. I would highly recommend the Turner Firm. I would give more then 5 stars if I could!

Mr. Turner was nothing but amazing. I was dealing with a serious ordeal involving probation violation, he handled everything for me, keeping constant communication, reassuring me that everything will be fine. Those were not empty promises, he made it to where I can move forward from my mistakes without having to go to jail or deal with outrageous fines. I recommend anyone dealing with any legal issues that they need taking care of quick & professionally The Turner Firm is the place to go. 10/10 great service & awesome energy.

DON'T HIRE THIS ATTORNEY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO TO JAIL!!! He doesn't return phone calls, he does'nt show up for court, he doesn't inform his clients of upcoming court dates and MOST importantly he won't advise nor represent you in a manner that would be in your what's in your best interest. I'd venture to say he doesn't review cases until day of court. He works for the prosecution...not his client! UPDATE 10/4/22: As you can see Joey responded to my previous message with BS. I hired another attorney to represent my brother and Joey was subpoenaed to appear in court TODAY, however, he DIDN’T SHOW….AGAIN!! But he states he’s doing all he can to have my brother exonerated…COMPLETE BS. Now my brother has to wait until December to see if he’ll show 🤬. GET IT TOGETHER JOEY OR STOP REPRESENTING CASES THAT YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS REPRESENTING! You’ve not returned phone calls and emails from his new attorney and now a subpoena…WTH seriously?!?
