The HOA is an absolute joke. Non-residents consistently parking in resident’s ASSIGNED parking spots, and the HOA doesn’t care. When you call to have the non-resident towed, the HOA “doesn’t know who to call.” When you challenge the HOA on their inability to take action, Dani (HOA President) throws a tantrum instead of owning the inefficiencies, and taking steps to do better. James, another HOA board member is quite possibly the laziest HOA board member. He will lie to your face, and dismiss you instead of actually doing his job. Do not live here, unless you enjoy HOA board members being incredibly rude, and dismissive to residents. Several complaints have been filed against the HOA, and management has done nothing. Take your money elsewhere. Response to the immature response of an HOA board member, It IS the HOA’s responsibility to enforce rules. HOA board members owe residents rule enforcement. Having HOA board members pass the buck, and avoid responsibility is comical. I have been on several HOA boards, and we would never respond to a resident like you have. The rules clearly state any vehicle a resident wants towed that is parked illegally must be done through the HOA. Every time we have called, the HOA “doesn’t know what to do.” How is that not the HOA’s fault?! Residents follow procedure for rule enforcement, the HOA doesn’t do anything to enforce the rules, but the HOA isn’t responsible?! Logic...none available. I am clearly aware of how an HOA works. This HOA clearly cannot handle being challenged. Instead of responding in all caps (which speaks volumes to one’s maturity level), acknowledge that the HOA board members could do better. Stop blaming residents for HOA board members refusing to enforce rules. Finally, HOA board members choose to be on the board, and know it isn’t a paid position. HOA board members should care about the community, and that’s why they should be on the board. The immature, and unprofessional response to a resident’s legitimate complaint validates this HOA’s need for improvement in many areas.
