Super clean, nice and fair value. The lady at the front desk was a natural host and perfect for the job. I will note - that every hotel I've ever been to misses (2) spots. The floor boards are always done poorly compared to the rest of the hotel and the shower pan / caulk is always more sloppy than it should be. A more premium shower head would be nice. Still a 5/5 place with 6/5 staff.

We were greeted by Rachel, who obviously enjoys her job. We were upgraded to a suite which was spacious, had a lovely contemporary decor, and 2 large windows with a pleasing view. Ate at a great BBQ place right across the street. The Stroud Hampton is a gem! And it is right off the highway. I would give it more stars if I could!

This hotel is so nice! It is clean and fresh inside. The breakfast is always delicious and it changes from morning to morning. The staff is nice. They have a little snack area with a variety of snacks and they come in handy when you don’t want to leave the hotel. They have a guest laundry area and that’s nice too.

It was a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful when our daughter got sick and we needed new bedding and more towels. The pool is great for kids but terrible for adults as it only gets to about 4.5 feet which makes it hard to actually swim. The bathroom doors are barn doors that leave gaps on both sides about 1 inch and no lock on the door. Makes it awkward to go to the bathroom if there are others in the room. The blinds were remote control but the batteries were out in ours and the front desk said they didn’t have enough batteries to give everyone a new one so we were unable to get batteries for our blinds to be able to move them up or down.
