Beautiful beach, pavilion and food. Sandiest beach in Town of Huntington. Nice to walk around in winter. Quiet and few people. Town resanded washed out beach.

We come to this beach for alot of events/birthday parties. The beach is nice, parking is easy. A nice playground for the kids and a great picnic area with bbq grills. During the summer you can reserve them if you are having an event/party but after summer it is first come first serve. It's nice that they also have a restaurant right at the beach. I hate that the water is so far down the beach and you have to step on jagged rocks and crab shells to get to it. After finally getting down there with your feet bleeding the water is pretty gross. I would not come here for a beach day.

Facing the Long Island sound. Interesting views. Coarse sand, rocks, lots of of sea wildlife. Can get quite windy. Kind of a party beach. Love it. When I was young, I would bring my Labrador there. Her name was Lady. Lady loved this stretch of rugged beach. Rip Lady.

Yes, if you have a beach pass.
A sign at the entrance says no dogs. But before 9 am and after 6 pm, I see lots of people with dogs.

So long as there is someone at the gate, there is a charge, how late that is seems to vary. Town residents can buy an annual pass, non-residents pay per diem.
A non resident will pay $75 a day to visit Crab Meadow Beach.
Season parking stickers are $40. Daily pass is $25. This is available at the parking booth.
Must be a resident of Huntington and have a valid sticker
Some say town hall , my thought is it is at harbormasters office . Limited amount distributed
