Great slopes and several lifts, within the mountain. Snow Park too. Rentals service and all personal working in the facilities are awesome

This place was sweet! Quick lines for lift tickets and rentals in the morning on a weekend. Plenty of routes (~20) with reasonable wait times for lifts. When I went there weren't any moguls on the blue and black routes I went on. The food was reasonably priced too ~$12 for a good meal to get you back on the slopes. The routes are shorter than a larger ski resort, but as a novice it's an amazing place to try out.

This is an efficient and well run resort. They have a great lodge to start out on, decent snowboard equipment (mostly newer Rossignols, but some worn out older stuff). The lifts are well run and when the lines got long, they opened a second lift. When we came there had been little natural snow, so it was almost entirely groomed artificial snow, which they did a great job spreading and grooming. They have hills for all levels. Everything from the tiny bunny hill to a sweet terrain park.

Always love skiing at Bittersweet. Staff was very helpful and Lilley did amazing with out daughters first time skiing in ski school. Great atmosphere!

Definitely open
U need to contact bittersweet directly. Would assume snow b there, but should make reservations for lessons
Ski places rarely close due to too much snow. Open at 3pm
It always depends on the weather. If it stays cold enough to maintain a base
Hamburgers, fries, chilli, and they had brisket one night. Im just going off what I seen.
Sadly it depends entirely on weather and temperatures, and on most years they are lucky to be open into March. Then will be closed until next winter opening as soon as wintery weather returns. The bar and ski shop may have a different cadence, I'm not sure.
With the cold temperature at night the snow crew is firing up the snow guns and making as much snow as possible.which should have the entire terrain park filled with features and jumps once again. Management is working hard to get everyone flying again....
Yes they do!
They do have a decent terrain park. I'm not sure how it compares to other places since I don't use the terrain park. I'm more of a spectator when it comes to terrain parks :)
I am fairly certain they will remain open. Just to be safe I would call the day of. Rarely do they close in the middle of the season due to above freezing temperatures...but if it is raining, there will be a higher chance of Bittersweet being closed for the day. Hope this helps!
No sliding hill only skiing and snowboarding.
They open at 10am.
You may want to try Airbnb or other similar sites.
Yes and yes, limited amount of 13's though
We still don't have a specific date. We're waiting for the weather to be consistently cold.
Stated mid month weekends only. However this weather will erode base very fast. I suggest going Friday if open
Yes but will run out on Saturdays if your not there in the morning
Yes,the cafe, bar, and snack shack are all available. All indoor seating unavailable. You will have to either go to your vehicle or utilize the new outdoor patio area.
Not sure yet has to be 28 and below in order to make snow and we need 3 cold days and nights of 28 and below in order to make enough snow to push with the groomers then will be open
Sorry we don't allow off season hiking.
Not sure if they would let you do that. If not Brookside park in Otsego has 5 free sights just minutes away.
Full service Bar serving traditional pub grub, fill service Cafeteria serving chili, burgers hot dogs and chicken fingers. Finally the best is the outdoor grill serving burgers and Bratwurst.
Yes....they will be open 10 am
We did have 3 but due to weather they have been taken down until cold weather returns and we are able to cover the runs again then they will be built again. Mother nature may be taking a turn for the better this next week
Check out the learn to ski package available here:. https://www.goskimichigan.com/discover-michigan-skiing/ It's a great deal that includes tickets, rentals, and a group lesson. Note that certain days are blocked out, typically around holidays. I highly, highly recommend lessons from a professional ski school. It'll make your experience far better and safer. Wear a helmet - you can get them with rentals at most locations. They're warm and good protection for minor falls. For clothing, wear a wicking layer, fleece if you have it, and a water resistant, wind blocking shell. Layers are great... You don't want to get sweaty. Bittersweet has a great beginner area, with short options and a long beginner hill that lets you figure out your rhythm. The chair there is easy to load on while you're figuring things out. There's a lower priced lift ticket that only covers the bunny slope. Ski school is great and friendly too. Take frequent breaks and quit before you get too tired. Have fun!
Yes, until 11:30pm. You can always check today's hours at www.skibittersweet.com.
Unfortunately due to weather, they weren't open today (12/30) but the best way to know would be calling them or checking facebook
Yes, I believe so.
Looks like they won't be open this morning, but are hoping to be open this afternoon. Here's their website (they do a pretty good job of keeping everyone informed): https://www.skibittersweet.com/
Yes but weather is playing a major factor this year I would suggest to check the website. skibittersweet.com. I am a ski patroller there and have worked many New Years days. And with rain in our forecast be safe and check the website. And if we are open stop by our patrol room and say hi. I am on patrol 3 till 1030.
I haven't of anything yet, but I always keep track of the opening day by checking out the website "On the snow" and type in the location and it will tell you the opening day and also the projected closing day. I just looked & it says opening day is Dec. 11 but that could always change depending on temperature changes.
No
I'd call them with any specific questions on open times and snow conditions - there's not a very good chance that one of us already happens to be there today ;)
The season is over whenever there is no longer snow. Generally no longer than mid-March
That's it. Nothing else
Read the web site. Face palm.
75 for rental & lift pass. There is 20" of snow
Timber Ridge very slow to open thid year. They defintely have tubing but its usually weekends only.
When they run out of base. Sometimes as early as late feb, sometimes as late as early April. It all just depends on snow and cold temps for them.
In March, even if there is still enough snow, they have to shut down because of insurance reasons.
Should be you can check web site. Thy up date it every day at 630 am
I don't think so.
They usually put their rates on the front page of their website http://www.skibittersweet.com/pages/home.cfm Don't know about kids rates.
Just so you know been 6 times already and its been decent for early season. Once gets cold next week they will be back making snow.
Weather permitting we hope to.
They are usually pretty quick even with a crowd so no worries with buying tickets at the resort.
They opened at noon today
Yes there will be
Yes , Bittersweet has free WiFi. They will give you the password in the office.
If they have snow. Typically 2nd or 3rd weekend in March is the end of the season.
I am currently working there yes it has to be a service dog
Yes you can, including food. They have a area set aside for "picnic lunch" in the upper balcony in the main cafeteria area.
Backroads may be a little dangerous. Drive cautiously.
No entrance fee persay. However, lift tickets and the like are an extra fee. A one-day lift ticket is around $35 if i remember correctly.
