Operates the lift

Jeff Osborn | Jun 19, 2020

A lift operator at the bottom of of the hill makes sure that the line keeps moving and that the chairs get filled with skiers and boarders so that the skiing and boarding public can get as many runs as they would like. That is mostly on our quad chair. And because of safety reasons the chair can only be started when both the upper operator and lower signal to one another that the problem is clear. The lift ops make sure that the loading and unloading zones are clear of chunks of snow and other things that would otherwise hinder the offloading and loading of the lifts. Training is available and management will be very happy to answer any and all your questions. Feel free to call the number on the web site and if it's what you want to do, enjoy the experience and enjoy the people that come to ski and board with us.
