I am a current resident of this apartment. I am very disappointed with the apartment management and staff. Maintanance people are good. However the maintanance issues are addressed very slowly. They say its long queue on maintanance orders. That should not mean that we have to wait for months!!. we are waiting for more than 1 and half month for our maintainance to get done. But it is not addressed yet. We are tolerating and living by high price for nothing. If there is a zero star, I will give for this apartment. I was about to transfer to another apartment. But just before 4 days they are saying apartment not ready yet. Now everything that we have planned needs to be dropped. Again they say there is no guarantee that we will get another apartment in the same community. It is so painful and stressful plus they dont care on our concerns.

Hello. Thanks for taking a note. I have been staying in the community for more than 3 years and I only had positive experiences to share until my recent experiences. The unit I am staying in is far from perfect (I know no apartment is perfect) but we still loved it. After the change in management (since a year ago) I think the community has become more unfriendly. I didn't want to write this review at all but I feel I should log my experiences. About three weeks back we were advised that our unit needs to have pest treatment done so we need to pack our stuff and vacate the premises for the day. I absolutely agreed with their assessment and we booked a room outside along with my family. The weekend after the 1st treatment we received another notice that there would be a 2nd pest treatment in the unit and we need to vacate the premises again. So we packed our stuff again, booked a hotel outside again and stayed out for the day. After coming back to our unit we noticed a lot of improvement in terms of pest activities and so we cleaned up and unpacked our stuff. However, I received a 3rd notice this last weekend for pest treatment, after we had cleaned up the whole house and put things back for the 2nd time. Now this is getting absolutely annoying for me. I would much rather had them take the unit for few days and do all the treatment they want before I could re-enter. Especially, I don't like (1) Packing and unpacking my stuff every week (2) Don't like taking a day off from work, every week, it impacts the work I do. (3) Don't like paying for a hotel accommodation every week. (4) Don't want to put my family (and 4 month old) at risk during this time of global pandemic every week However, I'm doing all the above again this week. I did call the leasing office and I was told this may continue for few more weeks. I feel they have no clue. Again, I didn't like posting this review but this was kind of too much. There have been other issues in the past (water leakage from AC and issue with sink etc.) that were tagged as unimportant were not addressed until after few weeks have passed. I am scared of weekends now :D (there would be one more notice). I hope this would be the last time.

Not a resident yet and still experienced poor management. Trying to lease apartment from out of state but assistants in the office does not have basic info about availability, pricing or amenities in the apartment. Additionally, Virtual tour is joke as it doesn’t happen at all. I had virtual tour schedule but no response about how to join and called three times to get the zoom link to join yet never received or not even a call back. So far I have contacted number of times still no info about how apartment would look like and the rent.

I’ve been at Avana for one year, and reason for moving out is that I’m traveling to Europe to visit family and will stay there few months. Otherwise I’d continue living at Avana. I’m giving 5 stars, I didnt have any problem here. Tasha responded on every mail or problem I had. I had roaches problem and after 2 visits and treatments my apartment is roaches free. Location is amazing, one room apartment is great, new floors, microwave, fridge and oven look like brand new (that’s really important for me). Community is clean. People friendly. I can complain of course, always you can find reason for complain, but overall I loved called Avana as my home! Thank you Avana for making my first time renting experience great!
