I cannot get anyone on the phone. I have called multiple times a day for the past week and a half. My fiance and I live low income, we have a 1 year old and I'm giving birth to our second daughter in 1 day. They cut off my families snap benefits stating that our income exceeds the limit, but that's not true. My fiance is the only one of us working and doesn't make much money now they are making it impossible for us to fix the problem and we won't have money to eat. This is crazy, and stressful. To call anyone you have to sit through 5 minutes of automated voice options only to have no one ever answer the phone. This system needs to be fixed ASAP. I have broken down into tears multiple times trying to deal with this awful awful system.

Drove there and stood outside for about 5 minutes at front door, I noticed a lady walking up about to go inside (worked there) so I asked her were they open she said appointments only. She was just going to let me stand there if I didn’t say anything. Been trying to call and make appt for several days now but they don’t answer. Just close the building down at this point because they getting free money and taking up space.

Last year I came in because of my DISABILITIES I had lost my foodstamps and was getting close to loosing my Medicaid. So I came into this office and I was hoping no I was begging for help. To not only PREVENT THE LOSS OF MY MEDICAID BUT ALSO TO GET MY FOODSTAMPS REINSTATED. When I came in I was so impressed at how quickly it took the receptionist to help me I had all the paperwork filled out for my Medicaid renewal thanks to someone from the Ga Legal Aid Services who had helped me fill out that information and I had brought all the things that they needed for my foodstamps. I wanted a CASE WORKER TO SO IF I HAD ANY PROBLEMS THEM I COULD WORK WITH ONE PERSON THAT WOULD UNDERSTAND MY MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES. BUT THE LADY AT FRONT DESK WAS SO GREAT AND SHE HAD ME IN AND OUT OF THERE IN 10 MINUTES. I ASK HER WHAT OTHER KIND OF INFORMATION DID SHE NEED AND SHE SAID EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF. THERE WAS A WOMAN FROM THE BACK WHO CAME OUT AND ASK ME TO FILL OUT A SURVEY ABOUT MY VISIT. WHICH I RAVED ABOUT. NOW ALMOST A YEAR LATER I NOT ONLY DON'T HAVE MY FOODSTAMPS BACK THEY TOOK AWAY MY MEDICAID AND NOW I'M ABOUTTO BE HOMELESS. I HAVE BEEN BACK TWICE AND COULD NOT GET IN. I BARLEY LEAVE MY ROOM, I'M HUNGRY AND NOW IM GOING TO BE HOMELESS THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP FULTON COUNTY DFCS OFFICE.

I wish that I could give 0 stars. I can't believe that I've been calling for 2 months with no response. I last talked to my caseworker over 2 months ago. I've been placed on bedrest from a high-risk pregnancy clinic and have no income... Therefore I qualify for pregnant Medicaid. I can't see a doctor because my case hasn't been approved yet???!!! This is very stressful for any pregnant person to go through.

Well, dependent on yours situations....bring yours incomes, proof of resident,ss cards on you and children n etc, birth papers on yours children and u etc....u can apply an applications online 24/7....good luck...
Yes medicaids n foodstamps.....
Yes, you can download the food stamps application and complete and turn or mail to your local dfacs location.
You won't get an appointment without filling out the application. You have to fill out an application, which you can do online or at a DFCS office and once you have submitted all the required documents, they will contact you for an interview. Considering she receives SSI, it shouldn't be much of an issue for your mother to restore her medicaid.
Call child protection services, they will investigate. Do you have evidence?
Your better off just going to the office in person, trying to get these people on the phone is a waste of time& energy.
Is close
You have to go into the office to apply
I will think you need to go in your country
Thanks for your advice.
Yes but go first thing at 8:00 because after that time its crowded
DFCS does help but not the one at this location its the 515 Fairburn Rd
They're slow. Always have been and always will be. I've started doing everything I can online.
