Putting your child(ren) in the hands of other people can be daunting. However, at Primrose of Sandy Springs South, that fear was eased because the teachers and staff showed a level compassion, care and professionalism that went beyond the call of duty. Above that, the curriculum fully prepared my daughter for Kindergarten and she left with a foundation that will help her both academically and personally as she embarks on her grade school years.

I gave it 1 star because I honestly liked the daycare up until now. Raneet basically kicked my 2 year old daughter out because she is “bad”. I sent an email about discrimination towards my daughter but she didn’t respond. I then sent an email asking to extend her until the other daycare is open. She then responded and said they couldn’t because she is “bad” and that she had 2 weeks to see improvement.. I asked if me and a behavior analyst could come and evaluate my child’s behavior from outside the classroom to make an behavior modification plan in order to extend her but she didn’t respond. Today she told me all of the teachers are anticipating her leaving and that it was peaceful because she didn’t attend. She went on to say that this behavior has been going on for over a year but I’m just now hearing about it last month. What daycare owner tells a parent that?she also told me all of the spots were suddenly full but my child never left. If you have an active child please send them somewhere else she will basically tell you your child needs 1:1 help and will not accommodate your child. (Unless it was just mine she didn’t want to accommodate). It is obvious that the patience for children is not there and obviously this daycare has not been reported to the right agency.

Every child learns at their own pace because every child is unique. At Primrose schools, teachers use a variety of tools throughout the year to collaborate with families and monitor each child’s progress. This helps them understand each child’s individual needs and provide the personalized support that helps them excel.
We call our curriculum the Balanced Learning® approach. It is designed to inspire children to think with creativity, compassion and resourcefulness. Primrose school teachers not only guide children as they learn letters, numbers, science and more, but they also weave in character development and life skills opportunities throughout the day so children can develop social and relationship skills.
We require all teachers to be certified in first aid and CPR, in addition to ongoing health and safety training throughout the year. Teachers are also trained on common signs of illness with signage placed in each classroom. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/yakwfr8g
Teachers and students practice frequent handwashing throughout the day and adhere to a strict sick policy. Temperature checks, touch free check in, and limitations on visitors may also be implemented to minimize risk to all. Learn more here: https://tinyurl.com/y7gutztv
Items like high-touch toys, playground equipment, and other common surfaces are disinfected frequently throughout the day. Sheets and blankets from cribs are laundered daily; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and are laundered on a weekly basis. We require any students or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours.
