We have patronized this Marriott several times in the last 2 years. Our most recent visit was less than desirable. Extra fees were charged and we were never notified of these charges. When I called to speak to a manager we were told the charges were due to pet urine on the carpet and the room left in a disarray. As you can imagine I was very upset. Our goldens are the best dogs and we have never had this problem in the many times we have stayed at Marriott or other brand hotels. Needless to stay, I have canceled our future reservations and will no longer stay at this location in the future. I would like to also add that when I asked to see pictures of the said room there was nothing to back the charges. Very disappointed in Marriott Chandler.

Hotel feels recently renovated or brand new. Like that the dining options including M lounge are on the first floor. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious. Don't expect a view, sorry people this is Phoenix suburbs expect brown with brown mountains. My floor and room constantly smelled like weed for 5 of the 6 days I was here. Very unpleasant and didn't seem like there was any interest from staff to resolve.

Pillows are not great. Mattress was way too soft. Had house keeping come in the room to clean and noticed they didn’t even clean the hard surfaces in the room. Just a quick making of bed and replacement of towels. Pure laziness for the most part. Guess we’ve already forgotten about extensive cleaning post Covid.

Brand new hotel in a new part of town. Very clean and nice. The breakfast in the M Club is a pretty standard so what you see at most of the Marriott across the country. I was expecting a little bit more from the breakfast since it was for M club members but it wasn’t bad. The on site restaurant is decent as well but just to note the portion sizes are REALLY big, so make sure you’re hungry. There’s also an on-site Starbucks which is nice! The rooms are decent size and very clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They also have a nice sized gym that’s open 24 hours!
