Shut off valve and outside faucet replaced from leak. Nick is professional and polite. Did a great job fixing the issues and giving quotes. Prices are a bit high but needed it done.

All installations are unique, and without looking at your installation specifically, it's hard to give the most accurate information. Rear outlet toilets are most commonly used in situations that prohibit the excavation of the floor below (like high-rise buildings). The orientation of the discharge does not dictate whether or not an installation requires the maceration of solids.

Assuming the system is in working order I'd recommend looking online for advice first. Could be that the gas was turned off fir the summer or another mundane reason. If it's broken Bell went the extra mile to get my system fixed that day. It was expensive but the service was great.

Hello Thank you for your question. Yes, an outlet on an island is a requirement. If you have an existing island without it that hasn't been worked on and updated you may be grandfathered in and ok without it. But if you are installing a new one or updating an existing island then it is a requirement to have one. In some jurisdictions it's a requirement to have two.
