I have a boot on my car saying that my residence parking permit isn’t registered to my tag when it is I took my car insurance my title and my registration to the front office and they gave me a sticker number 720. I am a single mom that husband has committed suicide live in low income with my daughter eight years old couldn’t go to gymnastics and I can’t go to work plus I have to pay $100 to get the boot off my car that I have to borrow from somebody this is traumatizing and unnecessary. Cindy that works at the Housing Authority property management told the people at the voting place not to release my boot instead of coming down here looking at the piece of paper showing in the office that that is registered to that car

My experience has been amazing, but now I can't find out if my voucher was renewed after recertification. We really need it. I'm pregnant and my mom is disabled and we truly need to keep it. Praying the best..

For over 2 years I have not heard anything but the same message which is the waiting list is closed. Does this mean all county is closed. I know there are many counties in Aurora.

How much for rent?
I live on the public housing program in Denver county... can I transfer to Aurora? I live in a dangerous part of Denver. My vehicles have been broken into several times.
You can call our Port-In Hotline at 720-251-2103 for information on what is required for portability.
If you are a resident at one of the Aurora Housing Authority properties, please discuss this situation with your manager. Lack of heat is considered an emergency in certain circumstances (for example, it would not be an emergency during a 90 degree (F) summer.) If you are not a resident with AHA, we would recommend reading your lease, contacting and documenting all interaction with your management in this regard, but we cannot provide legal or monetary advice in that case.
Unfortunately, we are not "that kind" of Authority, meaning we do not police the overall housing of the City of Aurora, and for that kind of question we only represent our own properties. If the air conditioning is considered and provided as an amenity of the unit, we would generally suggest you contact your management to service it. We strongly suggest you check to see what your lease says as it would likely be the defining document.
When a list opens up, we do our best to spread the word by publishing it in the local paper, sending it to different sites that provide assistance to seniors and the disabled, placing the information on our website, and other methods that best provide the fairest and most comprehensive opportunity. You can always check the waitlist status for different properties and programs at our website.
Call 211.
Normally they will put it on the website. But you have to check or you can give them a call and see when they were open the Section 8 list again
You have to tell them in writing within 10 days of the change and show proof of the income loss
Hi Sue, Our main phone number is 720-251-2100
You can only apply when the waiting list is open, at this time it's closed but contact Denver Housing Authority because their list should open up in September. You can go to the Colorado Coalition and they may be able to help you housing and different resources. I hope this information helps you. GOD bless you!!!
We are sorry that you had an unpleasant experience. If you would like to talk with us about your situation, we would be very happy to better understand your issue.
Low income housing
Well I think it's kinda up to the housing to win they want to make the appointment to come out and it takes about 11 days after that for them for the inspiratio to come out if it's a new place they wanted usually try to do it by this first so that they can pay the people for that month this is such a re-inspection they just come out and check see if the place still the same if you want to stay there again or not and you move is not you resign the lease to stay where you are
We would recommend discussing this directly with your Case Manager/Housing Specialist for further options. Not knowing all the details of your situation, we would not want to provide advice that may not apply. We do recommend picking up a copy of our list of resource and assistance providers either from our website or at our main location.
Aurora warms the night will help you I think the Gathering Place they can help you they have resources places to send you where to go that would help pay your rent
We cannot provide you legal advice, but we can recommend that you document your interactions with your landlord and the steps (if any) they have taken to mitigate the issue.
The Aurora Housing Authority manages several different kinds of programs, including Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV), VASH vouchers for Homeless Veterans, and much more. Please check our waitlist status page for information on open programs, if any: https://www.aurorahousing.org/housing/program-status/

Yoi have to wait until they are accepting applications. You can call them
I don't know a specific numb. But they are all generally really nice there, so I would just call the main numb. & ask to speak with a supervisor.
